Cycle and WIN in the GoCycle Challenge - Register Now!
The countdown has started to our latest cycling competition – The GoCycle Challenge. Sam Ryan has been appointed as Challenge Co-ordinator and will be encouraging as many people as possible to take to their bikes in March 2011.
The GoCycle Challenge is a fun, free competition open to all. People only need to cycle for at least 10 minutes to stand a chance of winning some great prizes - it’s participation that counts not miles. See how many of your friends and family you can get cycling – they say you never forget how to ride a bike!

Bike Maintenance Courses – All levels
There are a variety of courses to suit your experience and interest:
Introductory Bike Maintenance Course – Sat 22nd January. 2 places left. Intermediate Bike Maintenance Course – Sat 19th February. 3 places left. Both held at – Holiday Inn Express Milton Keynes
These courses are in-depth and hands-on, from 10am till 4pm – you’ll work on your own bike as well as learn other types of components too.

Loan bikes at the Cycle Hut for Railway Commuters
If you commute to the Railway Station, take a look at these loan bike offers:
- A good quality hybrid bike with 24 gears, lights & lock
- A Brompton folding bike with 3 gears & lights. Suitable for being dropped off and cycling home, or if you don’t have much space to keep a bike. You don’t lock it, you take it with you.
- A GoCycle electric bike with 3 gears, lights & lock. Great if your journey involves a lot of hills. Charge it up at the Cycle Hut whilst you are at work
Call in at the Cycle Hut at Leighton Buzzard Railway Station for more details and conditions of loan - opening hours 6 – 9am and 4 – 8pm Monday to Friday.
You Can Buy a Second Hand Bike to Fulfil Your New Year's Resolutions?

If you’ve been paid before Christmas and spent every penny by Boxing day, then you’ll appreciate any Free activities that are fun. Meet us in Church Square at the bottom of Leighton Buzzard High Street at 1.45pm. Mountain Biking Course – Out in the Elements - 20th Feb
Mountain Bike Course for 9 – 12 year old girls and boys, Stockgrove Park, Sunday 20th February 9.30-1.30pm. Lots of fun in the woods! Dare you try the “river rapids” and “hair-raising hills”?
