Cycle Show at “I Love LB” Xmas Weekend this Sunday
GoCycle and BuzzCycles have teamed up with Team Extreme to present a fabulous BMX Flatland Show at the market cross on Sunday 28 November as part of the I Love LB Xmas weekend. Between shows, which run on the hour from 11am, Team Extreme will be providing coaching to budding BMXers.
BMX Flatland has been likened to break dancing on a bike, with the rider twisting and contorting the bike around their body while balancing, spinning or rolling! The timing of each show is weather dependent and there is a risk they might be cancelled.
Visitors will also have the chance to test their bike control skills by riding GoCycle's North shore cycle track - part of one of the main attractions at this years' Earls Court Cycle Show.
GoCycle Challenge - recruitment
GoCycle are seeking a dynamic individual with the time to help run our Spring GoCycle Challenge, working under contract to CTC.
Recruitment has started for a part-time CTC Challenge Co-ordinator from January to mid-April to help deliver this exciting project to get more people cycling in Leighton-Linslade. Training provided. For more information and full application details, please email Ian.Richardson@ctc.org.uk.
New Sheltered Cycle Parking in the Library Car Park
Now you can park your bike in style in our new covered Cycle Parking in the library car park. Let us know what you think. If you want to leave your bike for a longer time, or you wish to use shower facilities too, you can use one of the Bikeaway lockers in the multistorey car park – all FREE.

Bring your bike along to one of our Free Dr Bike checks - GoCycle Tuesdays will be up and running until the end of March 2011, from 8am to 4pm each week.

“Bike Rescue” refurbish and service unwanted bikes to keep them on the road and out of landfill. A number of these are on display and available for sale at the Cycle Hut at Leighton Buzzard station.
