Secure Cycle Parking Returns to LB station. The Cycle Hub at Leighton Buzzard station is re-opening on Monday 18th October at 6am.Parking will be free for a trial period until Christmas. It provides secure cycle parking plus additional benefits if you become a member. Just turn up and lock your bike!
Become a member for free and benefit from:
• Quicker parking: Only need to show membership card to park
• Lighter load: Loan locks so you don’t need to carry one
• Less stuff to carry on the train: Loan locker for your helmet, lights, etc
Hours of operation: 6am to 9am and 4pm to 8pm Monday to Friday
Dr Bike dates – give your bike a health check:
Bring your bike along to one of our Free Dr Bike checks - GoCycle Tuesdays will be up and running until the end of March 2011, from 8am to 4pm each week.

2nd Tuesday of the month – Market Cross, Town Centre (9th Nov, 14th Dec, 11th Jan, 8th Feb, 8th Mar)
3rd Tuesday of the month – Learning Warehouse, Grovebury Road (16th Nov, 21st Dec, 18th Jan, 15th Feb, 15th Mar)
4th Tuesday of the month – CherryCourt Way Industrial Estate (23rd Nov, (not running on 28th Dec), 25th Jan, 22nd Feb, 22nd Mar)
plus Tuesday 30th November at Sandhills Junction, near the mini railway.

Sponsored Cycle, Sun 7th Nov, for Stanbridge Meadows. Meeting at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre at 10.30am, there will be routes for all ages and experiences. The money raised will go towards buying Stanbridge meadows to keep the rich and rare habitat and species in that area. More info buzzcycles@aol.com
Vote for a permanent Cycle Trail round Stowe Gardens
Following the fantastic response by local families and schools to the Fathers Day Family Cycle Ride funded by Bucks CC’s Extended Services, Stowe wish to secure funding to turn the temporary Cycle Trail in this lovely area, into a permanent aspect of the grounds and have put forward a project proposal to secure the necessary funding through Bovril. This project is in competition for funding with many other National Trust projects, so it needs your vote! Now! You don’t have to be an NT member; anyone can vote and it is quite painless. Bike Maintenance Courses – Get signed up!
MBRS are offering, on alternating months. Basic and Intermediate Courses
The courses are held at Eggington Village Hall, LU7 9PD. From 11am until 2pm. The cost of each course per attendee is £40.00 payable in advance.
